Sheriff Gladieux is a 32-year veteran of the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. He has served in a wide range of positions ranging from confinement officer, to emergency dispatch communications, to major crimes detective — so he understands the operations of the department at every level.

  • Elected Sheriff of Allen County in 2014
  • Named Chief Deputy by Sheriff Ken Fries in 2007
  • Promoted to major crimes detective specializing in arson investigations
  • Served 14 years in road patrol – including 13 years as a K-9 handler
  • 11-year member of Allen County S.W.A.T. Team
  • Served for 3 years as civilian confinement officer, beginning in 1987
  • Committed to carrying on the tradition of Republican leadership that has made Allen County one of the safest counties in Indiana
  • Graduate of the 241st session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA – only 1% of all law enforcement personnel are invited to attend
  • Attended the National Fire Academy
  • Lifelong resident of Allen County and father to three beautiful daughters
